Public registers
Four registers, published and kept current. Each is updated within seven days of the event to be entered. Inspection is free of charge; a certified copy of a document on the record is Rs 2,000.
The entries below are specimens. They show the format and the particulars each register carries, so that an applicant knows what will be published about it and a reader knows what to expect. Live entries replace them as instruments are granted. No entry here records a real licence, registration or concurrence.

What this register never shows
Fuel consumption, gas connection particulars, output data or the commercial terms of any supply. The register records who is registered, where the plant is and what it is rated at, and nothing further.

Concurrence is not a licence
It is a written confirmation that a supply within a corporate group falls within captive use. The Authority has no power in that proceeding to examine or approve the price, and the register carries no commercial term.

Why a returned application appears here
Where an application falls outside the Authority's competence it is returned with written reasons and the fee is refunded. It is recorded on the register so the position is on the public record, and so that nobody is left wondering what became of it.
